This rare honey is collected only in unseasonably warm Autumn months. It is not often we get the opportunity to harvest it. Intensely malty in flavour, a honey that stays with you without being overpowering. Quite unlike any other honey.

Thick, golden honey with a powerful aroma and slightly granular texture. The judges love the sherbety, cooling qualities and the malty top notes and aniseed finish. A really unusual and delicious honey.

The judges loved the initial burst of flavour from this unusual honey. The flavour is a little short-lived however and they were divided about the grainy texture, with one judge enjoying it and others really not liking it.

An intriguingly aromatic and creamy honey that instantly melts in the mouth, exploding with malty flavours accentuated by the floral terroir of the bees. A very long finish on the palate makes anyone eating this feel surrounded by wild flowers.
