Table R 2 Mason: We like the full bodied stickiness of this honey, the caramelised heather notes are very good indeed, and its very smooth to eat. We love the fact we can taste the beehive and its surrounds, well done bees and beekeeper.

Table 6: An intriguing, marmalade like aspect to this heather honey. The initial impact is simple, direct, powerful and clearly heather. But then there is a second layer of brighter acidity and pleasing bitterness. A remarkable complexity with waves of flavour and great length to them.

Table 99: Gorgeous depth of colour and the taste did not disappoint. Strong heather tones filled the mouth and nose, and lingered. Perfect.
